DAY -1

Waking up at 5 a.m. in the morning was never a case with me. My dad was trying to wake me up at 5 a.m. since last 14 years of my school life but failed every time. But today the scene was totally different. Today I woke up by myself! J
I was very much anxious. I had no idea if I will be able to make new friends, if I will find someone who will be exactly my friends? Hence had so many doubts about what my college life would be like! So without creating much hassle at home I left to reach my bus stop at time. Dad had to drop me to the bus stop, so had no problem in boarding the bus.
I finally boarded the bus which was named D-4, RITHALA. I spotted a girl with a dark complexion sitting alone on the second seat, a three seated seat it was. Finally, found my first friend in this tourist bus and in my college as well. This bus was actually a tourist A/C bus. The real tension to me before coming to this college was not just about making new friends but it was also due to RAGGING. Thank God I didn't have to face all this ragging shit on my very first day to this college. I had my I-pod with me, all filled with those latest and favorite songs of mine. Before putting those earphones all into my ears I greeted the girl who was sitting beside me a Hello! J
“Hey! Are you a fresher like me?” I asked. “No I’m a second year student!” she told. “Oh I’m sorry I felt that if you were a fresher too! My mistake! :).” So by now I realized that my bus must be having seniors also, thus I've to be very careful with my questions! After a few minutes of silence, my so called senior asked my name. “May I know your name please?” she asked in a very polite manner. “Naina Kapoor. And your name please?” I said. “I am swati, By the way which school are you from?” she questioned. “I am from bal bharati public school, gangaram branch. What about you?” I asked her in an excited manner because I was like I can find a friend with whom I can sit everyday and spend my two and a half hours journey comfortably. “I am also from BBPS! But from rohini branch!” she replied.
That BBPS tag made me feel heavenly!  This was so because my school was one of the top schools all over the Delhi and was an international school awarded school by UKEIRI. My school gave me a lot of exposure, especially the last two years of my school life.
In my 19 years of life I had never traveled through a bus on a daily basis. What I remember is that I traveled through bus only for school picnics. And yes once I went to Goa (obviously with my family), it was a night trip and I couldn't sleep throughout the night as it was my first experience and a very beautiful experience it turned out to be.
